It's Friday again,
and it's Week 3 of being a Guest Designer
for the Delicious Doodles Challenge Blog.

A Banner For You

This week I wanted to make my card
using a technique I have been introduced to
through my weekly Card Class I go to.
It's a Spotlight Card,
which traditionally is a Circle,
but for this I used a Triangle
as it fitted the card better.

The Theme at
Delicious Doodles is:-
Make A Scene

This week you could Win:-
5 Images from Teri at Delicious Doodles

My project for this week is:-

For my Base Card I used an A4 Sheet of
Light Blue Card
(stash)
Which I Hand-cut and
Folded into a Step Card.
24 x 17.5cm, and scored for the folds
at 9.5cm, 19cm, 21.5cm.

Next I printed off the image for this project,
on White DC Paper.

               Trees -              Pine
               Houses -           Ivory

                                        Pear Green

                                        Cool Aqua

perfectly on top of the black and white Image.

Next I Die-Cut out a rectangle from
White Découpage Paper
using the large Locking Loops
(Spellbinders).
I used Metallic Blue Jean pigment Ink
and Dark Orange Ink
(both from Docrafts)
and sponged them around the edge
of the die-cut paper.
Then I backed it all on to
Textured Stone Card

For my Front Step,
I used a 'Happy Birthday' Rubber Stamp
(Hampton Art Stamps)
on a strip of White Paper backed on Stone Card.
And I used 'Best Wishes' Clear Stamp

I used the Circle Die-cut on the Stone Card
(Framelit Basic Shapes - Sizzex)
to make the Disc.
I used the Metallic Blue Jean Pigment Ink,
for both of the stamping.

To make it look a bit neater I used
a 5mm Corner Punch
(X-Cut)
to round off all the Corners
on all of the Stone Card and the
White Sentiment Strip.

To finish my card off
I used 2 strands of Silver/White Twine
(stash)
and I threaded a Wooden Bead,
a chip of a Sea Shell
(stash)
and a Metal Ships Wheel,
(Crafty Bitz)
through one of the Twine Stands.
