New Challenge #95 At Glitter N Sparkle

Ohh Wow,
what Hot Hot Hot weather we have been having.
Its beautiful sunbathing weather 
except when you have a newborn baby to look after 
and he wont settle for nap times 

On the plus side my Beloved is having 2 weeks off work,
so yay I will finally get my garden sorted out.
Shh no-one tell him though or 
he might run away fishing instead lol.


Here is my project for this Week:-

Use Some Purple

My project for this week is:-

Butterfly Garden Digi Stamp 
from Hope Jacare Doodles 
at Stitchy Bear Stamps
(one of our sponsors)

To began with I used an A4 sheet of
 Pearlised Purple Card.
(Ross Papers).
Which I folded in half and cut down to measure 
12cm x 16cm.
And decoratively Punched the corners
using the Lace 3-Way Corner Punch
(Fiskars)

I then printed off the Image on White DC Paper,
and coloured it in 
using my Promarker Pens.

Cool Grey 3
                                      Lavender
                                      Lilac
                                      Amethyst
                                      Slate

I then Die-Cut it out using the Largest
Majestic Labels Eight
(Spellbinders).

To finish off my card, 
I used Iridescent Mauve Pink Glitter on the Butterflies
and Holographic Silver Glitter on the Leaves
(both from Glitter Magic).
And I added Glossy Accents 
(Ranger)
to all the Roses around the Border and to 
the ones on the Ground under the Bush.

Challenge #94 at Glitter N Sparkle

And Last,
but definitely not least,
here is my 4th instalment for today.

Now this one I loved doing as 
I have based it on my 2 adorable baby boys
Smudge and Tiger.
Just so you can see, here they are relaxing,
(and for once not fighting lol)

My project for this week is:-

Mr and Mrs Digi Stamp 
from Ike's Art
(one of our sponsors)

To began with I used a pre-cut White Card.
(stash).
Then I used Cream Linen Effect Paper
(Tilly Daydream - DoCrafts)
on each side of the Front of the Card.

I printed off the Image on White DC Paper,
and coloured it in 
using my Promarker Pens.

  Cat 1 -  Black
Cool Grey 5
Cat 2 - Sandstone
Caramel
Shale
Cool Grey 5
Eyes -  Yellow
Noses -  Blossom
Carmine
Magenta
Yellow

I then cut it out using the Centre Template.
And decoupaged it up from the 
inside back of the Card.

I typed out my Sentiment on the Computer
using the Bernhard Fashion BT Font, 
in Brown.
and then I Die-Cut it out using a
Small Frilly Square #2
(Go Kreate).
Which I placed on an Oval Piece of Lace 
(from my Grandma's Sewing Box).

Using a sponge I went around the 
Image,Sentiment and the Card with
Walnut Stain Distress Ink
(Tom Holtz).

I added a Handmade Bow
made from 5mm Brown Satin Ribbon
(stash)
topped with a Light Brown 'Cat's Eye' Gem
(stash).

To finish off my card, 
I added Brown Flat-backed Pearls 
to each of the corners of the sentiment,
and on the top Right and 
bottom Left of the Card
(stash).

Well I'm getting there,
I am now on the right week lol,
and here is my 3rd instalment for today.

My project for this week is:-

Emma and the Cake Digi Stamp 
from Fred She Said
(one of our sponsors)

To began with I used a pre-cut White Card.
(stash).
Then I placed a piece of Fushia Pink Card
(stash)
same size as the full card, on the inside the Card, 
so that it showed through the cut out 'petals'.

I printed off the Image on White DC Paper,
and coloured it in 
using my Promarker Pens.

  Skin -  Blush
Vanilla
Satin
Hair - Mustard
Yellow
Dress -  Magenta
Shoes -  Magenta
Cake - Blossom
Carmine
Magenta
Yellow

I then Die-Cut it out 
using the Middle Circle
 (X-Cut),
And went around the inside of the 'Petal' Area
on the Card with a sponge,
which I had covered with 
my Magenta Promarker.

For the Sentiments I used
'You're So Sweet' stamped in
Tuxedo Black Ink
(Memento)
with the Cupcake and Cherry 
coloured with Magenta Promarker,
and 'Happy Birthday' stamped in 
Watermark Ink
(VersaMark)
and Heat Embossed with
Pink Embossing Powder
(Papermania)
(both from You're So Sweet Collection 
- Adam Pescott).

I added a Handmade Bow
made from Bright Pink Organza Ribbon
(stash).
and to make the Cake pop,
I used Glossy Accents
(Ranger)
on the Icing.

To finish off my card, 
I added Bright Pink Flat-backed Pearls 
to the the centre of each 'Flower'
(stash).
And used Holographic Copper Glitter 
on the Candle Flame, 
and Iridescent Bright Pink Glitter 
on the Writing
(both from Glitter Magic).

Challenge #93 at Glitter N Sparkle

Well,
as I said today is going to be a catch up
of Blogs missed.
So here is the second of today's instalment.

Also not only have I had my Very Happy News
(please see my previous Blog ;P)
but I have also been looking after a 
newborn baby and a 2 year old 
for my 'sister-in-law' while 
her house is being ripped to bits 
for re-wiring and decorating. 
And to top it all off 
SUMMER HOLIDAYS
have started so that means
loads of kids in and out, 
stopping and going
(My partner has 2 daughters plus 
6 nieces and 6 nephews).

Anyway here is my project for that Week:-

The Theme at 
Glitter n Sparkle was:-
Anything Goes

Taski Digi Stamp 
from Crafty Sentiments

To began with I used a pre-cut White Spring Card,
(stash).
Then I chose a picture off the Internet called 
Loady Bug
(www. layoutsparkes.co.uk)
which I die-cut out using Scalloped Squares
(X-Cut)
and used the corners from the remaining paper,
to put on the Bottom of the card
(so that it all tied in).
I wanted it to look like she is 
skipping and splashing along the top of the water 
on the Lily-Pad Leaves.

I printed off the Image on White DC Paper,
and coloured it in 
using my Promarker Pens.
(I added to her Eyes and Mouth 
to give her an 'Anime' look)

I then Fussy Cut all around the Image.

To Bling my Card up I
added Glitter to my Image.


I used Iridescent Yellow on her Hair Bow, 
and on the Lemon Squares on her 
Belt and her socks .
On her Wings I used Iridescent Mint Green all over,
but around the edges of her Wings,
I used Chameleon Flakes.
(all glitter from Glitter Magic)

To finish off my card, 
I used a piece of 5mm Lime Green Ribbed Ribbon,
which I handmade into a Bow.
And 5mm Flat-backed Diamante's 
(stash)
1 in each of the Corners on the Top, 
and along the White Boarder on the Bottom.

Challenge #92 for Glitter n Sparkle

Wow,
Well its been a very interesting couple of weeks recently,
so sorry that I haven't been on here much.
Things have been soooooo hectic.

Well my beloved surprised me on our trip away,
and I can now officially say
I'm Engaged
Yes he did the whole romantic thing,
down on one knee and everything.

So now I'm about to catch up on my 
Blogs that I have missed.
Hopefully now that everything is back to 
semi-normal, I will be able to keep on top of it all.

Anyway here is my project for that Week:-

The Theme at 
Glitter n Sparkle was:-
Bling It On !

Fae24 Digi Stamp 
from Fitztown
(one of our sponsors)

To began with I used a pre-cut White Flower Card,
(stash).
Then using it as a Template I cut out a top shape
in White Silver Mist Pearlised Card
(stash)
and folded the front of the card in half,
and glued that to the cut one so that it would pop up.
And using the Smaller Template I cut out 
half a smaller 'Flower Shape' 
from the same White Card.
Next I used Purple Iridescent Paper
(Craft Planet)
and covered the full bottom part of the card,
and also cut out a smaller 'Flower Shape' 
to use as a backing on the top of the Card

I printed off the Image on White DC Paper,
and coloured it in 
using my Promarker Pens.

  Skin -  Blush

I then fussy Cut around the Rectangle 
shape of the Image.

For the Sentiment I used
'Enchanting'
(Fairy Belle Collection - Jodie Lee)
which I Stamped using Tuxedo Black Ink
(Memento).

I Die-Cut out 2 Butterflies.
The 1st on Purple Pearlised Card
(Ross Papers)
using the Small Lace Faerie Queen
(Cheery Lynn Designs).
And the 2nd on Silver Holographic Paper
(stash)
using the Small Butterfly from
Butterflies + Dragonfly Signature Die
(Joanna Sheen).

To Bling my Card up I have
added Glitter to my Image.

On her Hair I have put strands on 
Purple/Blue Glitter.
I have Picked out the main design on her Dress
in Plum Purple Glitter.
For the Flowers I have used 
Lilac Pink Glitter on the Roses,
Lavender Glitter on the Lilies,
and Holographic Black in the 
centre of the Poppies.
And Finally I used Holographic Silver 
on the Butterfly Wings.
(all glitter from Glitter Magic)

To finish off my card, 
I used a piece of Metal Butterfly Ribbon,
(filled with Seed Pearls).

Using 4mm Flat-backed Purple Pearls 
(stash)
I made a line at the back of the sentiment
(so the card can stand up).
and then 1 on the point of every 'Petal'.
And using 2mm Flat-backed White (seed) Pearls,
I put 3 on all the 'V' dips.
