New Challenge #104 at Glitter N Sparkle

Hello Again
I'm back again with the second of today's blogs.
I really do hate being ill as it throws
everything out of sync,
just gotta take things day to day
and focus on the good days.
And like I said in my previous post,
so glad that I am now feeling
at least 90% better.

Here is my project for this Week:-

The Theme at
Glitter n Sparkle is:-
Use Some Flowers

To began with I used a Pre-cut
White Panel Screen Card.
(stash).
I hand cut out a rectangle from the middle
of the panel to make a window.
And then using Light Purple Stripes and Flowers Card
(stash)
I cut it to fit and covered the front of the Card.
Next I printed off the Image on
White DC Paper,
and coloured it in
using my Promarker Pens.

To frame the Image I Die-Cut out
Pick Of The Bunch - Peony Window
(Tonic)
on Light Purple Card
(stash).
On the Embossed parts of the Frame
(except the Flowers)
I highlighted it with my White Shake Pen
(Graph'It).
I use a Manual Big-Shot Die Cutter Machine.

For my Flowers,
I first used a Flower Head Punch
(X-Cut)
on Pearlised Dark Purple Paper,
and Pearlised White Paper.
(both from stash),
and placed 4 Clear Craft Dew Drops
(stash)
in the centre of each one.
For the larger flowers
I used the Petal Posy (14pc) Die Set
(X-Cut)
Made up of 5 Layers for both Flowers.
Using 3 of the Larger different size Blooms
(1,2,2)
on the Pearlised Dark Purple Paper,
and 2 of the Smaller size Blooms
(3,2)
on the Pearlised White Paper.
Curling each of the petals up and
fixing them together with
a Light Purple Spotted Sun Brad and

Challenge #103 at Glitter N Sparkle

So Sorry,
Last week was a bit of a bad one for me
I was not well at all.
Which is why my project hasn't
been put on till today.
Finally feeling much better thank goodness.

Last week I had some Biscuits,
Homemade Marbled Strawberry Melting Moments Biscuits
 to make for a friend
and I wanted something nice to put them in.

So here is my project for the Week:-

The Theme at
Glitter n Sparkle was:-
Include Some Pink

Strawberry House Digi Stamp
from Gingerloft (at Stitchy Bear)
(one of our sponsors)

To began with I cleaned out an empty
Bisto Gravy container,
and Lined it with Tinfoil.
Using some Mid Pink Card
(stash)
I cut it to size and wrapped it around the
outside of the container.

I then printed off the Image on
White DC Paper,
and coloured it in
using my Promarker Pens.

Buttercup
                                       Gold
Poppy
Carmine
Dusky Rose
Caramel
Cinnamon
Cocoa
Burnt Sienna
Shale
  Meadow Green
Apple
Pear Green
Moss
Pine
Cool Grey 2
Cool Grey 4
Cool Grey 5

I then Die-Cut the Image out using
the Largest of the Majestic Labels 8
(Spellbinders)
For the Label I used the 2nd Smallest Majestic Labels 8
and cut it out of the Mid Pink Card.
and using some White DC
I drew round the inside of the small die,
and Cut it out by hand to make the insert,
and I went around the edge with my Dusky Rose Pen.
Then hand-wrote on the
'Strawberry Melting Moments'.

To finish my Card off I added
hand-made a fancy bow
made from Pink Organza
(Stash)
which I added to the Lid.

It is very simple to make this Bow.
Using Ribbon at least 20mm wide,
just fold the ribbon around its-self,
(8-10 times)
at the width you want your bow to be
(I used my four fingers on my hand).
then using a pair of sharp scissors in the middle,
cut a V shape towards the middle
of the ribbon on each side.
Tie it tight where the two points face each other
(I used a Tie wrap)
and then start spreading the Loops out.
Start at one end and pull and twist them
to the Left then the Right alternately,
and then repeat on the other end.
Finally fluff and tweak the ribbon
till you are happy with the result.

I'd like to enter this Card in the following Challenges:-

New Challenge #102 at Glitter N Sparkle

Hello everyone
Well its been another week where I haven't
really seen my partner.
He was suppose to have 3 days off
at the end of the week
and he got called in to work for 2 of them,
so its been kinda lonely,
though I can get plenty of crafting done
hehe.

Then yesterday was just a disaster from
beginning to end.
1st broke the big FishTank,
2nd the Clutch starts to go on the Car,
3rd lost the Stone from my Engagement Ring
while out shopping (for the new FishTank).

Anyway this week I decided to try something new
with my card.
I enjoy a bit of painting on Canvas
in different mediums with
Acrylics, Oils and Watercolours.
And I thought this Image looked so much
like a painting that I wanted to 'Paint' it.
And with the time of year now it lent itself to the
Autumn/Fall colours.
Here is my project for this Week:-

The Theme at
Glitter n Sparkle is:-
Use A Punch

Our Sponsors this week are:-

Ike'sArt who are offering
3 Images from their store

Stamping Chef who are offering
3 Images from their store

Bunny Zoe who are offering
a $10 Gift Certificate for their store

Fred She Said who are offering
a $10 Gift Certificate for their store

My project for this week is:-

Castle Digi Stamp
from Ike'sArt
(one of our sponsors)

To began with I used an A4 Sheet
of White Card
(stash)
which I folded in half, to make my Base Card,
trimmed to 14.5cm x 20cm

I then printed off the Image on
White DC Paper,
and coloured it in
using WaterColour Paints
(Artist Grafix Collection).

                                   - Chinese White
                                   - Lemon Yellow
                                   - Sap Green
                                   - Green Deep
                                   - Burnt Sienna
                                   - Raw Umber
                                   - Crimson Red
                                   - Vermilion
                                   - Prussian Blue
                                   - Lamp Black

Using Oak Brown pre-embossed Wood Effect Card,
(stash)
I cut four 2cm and four 1cm strips.
Using the 2cm Strips I punched them out using
my Delicate Lattice Border Punch
(Tonic),
and cut them to the sizes I needed
for the Inside Frame,
2x 11cm and 2x 7cm.
The 1cm strips I used as the Outside Frame
2x 14cm and 2x 19.5cm,
then mitred the corners to fit each other.

To finish my Card off I added
Silver Bobbled Peel-Off Strips
around the edge of the 'Frame'.
