New Challenge #135 at Glitter N Sparkle

Good Morning,

I hope everyone is looking forward to a good
May Bank Holiday here in England.
Lets all keep our fingers crossed that the sun will shine,
because its being very indecisive over the last couple of days.

I would also like to Congratulate
William and Kate from our Royal Family
on the birth of their Baby Daughter.
I may not be a stanch Royalist ,
but I do believe in the miracle of life,
and wish our new Princess all the best.
(at the moment she is still unnamed lol)

Anyway on with this weeks project,
which comes in very handy for my pencils.

Midway Post, Challenge #35 at Open-Minded Crafting

It's Saturday,
which means its time again for the Midway Post
over at Open-Minded Crafting.

Well College is going amazing cant believe how easy I am finding it all.
wish I had thought of doing this years ago.

Also this week we have celebrated
a Niece's 1st Birthday.
So yes it was a 'Frozen' Themed Party
for which all the males seem to take in their stride very well lol.

This weeks Theme is out of my comfort zone
and I still am not really to sure what
Shabby Chic is,
but here is my Interpretation of it,
hope you like it.

The Theme at
Shabby Chic

Our Sponsors are:-

All Dressed Up who are offering
2 Images.

Kith And Kin Digital Stamp Co who are offering
3 Images.

Ppinky Dolls Art who are offering
3 Images.

The East Wind who are offering
3 Images.

My Project for this
week is:-
Funky Antique Lady Doll Digi Stamp
from The East Wind
(one of our sponsors)

To begin with I started with an A4 sheet of Stone Card
(stash)
which I folded in half and Cut to make a 14cm Square Card.

Next I cut a Piece of brown Script Paper
(stash)
so that it fitted on the Stone card.
And using 5cm Cream Lace
(Craft - Range)
I covered the Left hand-side and the Top of the Paper.

Next I used some Vintage Flower Paper
( Electique - Fynmark)
which I Die-Cut with Concentric Tag #3
(Go Kreate)
And from some Pearlised Bronze Brown Paper
(Ross Papers)
I Die-Cut out a Delicate Doily Edge
(Molly Moo Dies - Aly's Inky Fingers)

Next I printed off the Image
on White DC Paper.
coloured the Images
using my Promarker Pens.

                                                            Ivory                - Eyeshadow/Hair Comb/Wrap

                                                            Satin                 - Skin
                                                            Vanilla              - Skin
                                                            Blush                - Cheeks
                                                            Dusky Rose     - Lips
                                                            Cyan                 - Eyes
                                                            Pastel Yellow  - Hair
                                                            Mustard          - Hair
                                                            Sandstone       - Eyeshadow/Hair/
                                                                                        Hair Comb/Dress
                                                            Cocoa               - Eyeshadow/Hair Comb/
                                                                                        Dress/Gloves/Brooch/Bag
I also used a Metallic Gold Gel Pen,
on the Hair Comb, Brooch, Bag,
and I also used it to go around the Swirls of the Frame.

Then I Die-Cut it out using a Scalloped Oval
(X-Cut)

To distress everything I used Tom Holtz Distress Inks.
On the Digi Image Oval I started off with Antique Linen Ink
then built the colour up with Vintage Photo Ink
and finally used Walnut Stain Ink for the very outside.
On the Tag I used the Vintage Photo Ink
and finished the build up with Walnut Stain Ink.
On the Doily Edge I just used the Black Soot Ink.

Then I put my card together Layering it up,
using a Cream Feather
(stash)
under the Image.

Finally I added a Cream Paper Rose
( SIL - Craft Shop)
and 2 Brown Skeleton Leaves
(Habico)
on top of the Tag.
