New Challenge #108 at Glitter N Sparkle

Another week has gone by 

and the weather has definitely turned for the worse

it is still wet and windy.

Its not been a good week at all.

I put my back out on Wednesday,

and had to go to the Doctors.

Upshot more and stronger Medication

and a new clinic to attend with the torturers

(otherwise know as the Physiotherapists).

Downside is its taking me twice as long to make cards,

but I'm glad I can still do a bit.

I have decided that when I'm making Cards 
I would like to incorporate a sketch that has
caught my eye each week,
unless I am making a 3-D project.

Magical Day Digi Stamp

I wanted this to be a very easy card to make.

To begin with I used an A4 sheet of White Card

(stash)

which I folded in half and cut to make an

18 x 12.5cm card.

Then I cut a 17.8 x 12.3cm rectangle 

of Pearlised Black Card

(Ross Papers)

Next I cut out a 12cm Square 

of Pearlised Purple Paper

(Ross Papers)

And a 8 x 12cm rectangle

of Orange Card

(stash - 

Leftover from last weeks card make!)

Using a Cobweb Stencil

(sorry I don't know who's it is, 

if anyone could tell me it would be appreciated)

on the Orange Card.

I rubbed over with my fingers using

Gunmetal Metallic Rub-Ons

(Earth Tones Kit #2 

- Craf-T Products)

Then I printed off the Image

on White DC Paper

and coloured it in

using my Promarker Pens

                                Skin -     Vanilla

                                                Blush

                                                Satin

                                                Dusky Rose (Cheeks + Lips)

                                Hair -     Sandstone

                                                Cocoa

                                                Burnt Sienna

                                Hat -      Amethyst

                                                Cool Grey 1

                                                Cool Grey 3

                                                Cool Grey 5

                                                Black

                                Dress -   Lavender

                                                Lilac

                                                Cool Grey 5

                                                Black

                                Wings -  Amethyst

                                Tights -  Amethyst

                                                Black

                                Cat -       Amethyst 

                                                Black

                                Bag -      Yellow

                                                Honeycomb

                                                Black

                                Stars -    Yellow

I then cut the Image out to a 

6 x 8cm rectangle.

To finish off my Card,

I added Iridescent Mauve Pink Glitter

(Glitter Magic)

to her Wings and to the Bows 

on her Hat and the Cat.

And Honey Yellow Glitter

(Craft Planet)

to all the Stars.

Card No.2 Challenge #107 at Glitter N Sparkle

And now onto the next Card.

Well Autumn has definitely arrived here 
in my neck of the woods, 
everything is turning orange and copper, 
and the weather well that's just getting nasty. 
Yes its all wet, windy and cold, 
and I really dislike the cold. 
Anyway its getting to that time of the year
where all the kids are looking forward to 
Halloween.
And here is no exception,
well apart from that certain 'KIDS'
are technically adults lol.
My partner just loves this holiday,
If he could have his way it would be a full out 
Spook Fest.
(me I'm scared of my own shadow lol).

My 2nd project for this week is:-

Mandi + Sheba Digi Stamp

To began with I made a 17 x 12.5 cm Card from
White Card
(stash).
I then cut out a 16.5 x 12 cm rectangle
from Orange Card
(stash).
Next I used a piece of Animal Wallpaper 
that I had Lying around,
cut to 8 x 12 cm.
(I have a habit of going to DIY stores 
and taking a piece of the Free wallpaper samples - 
Just because they take my fancy)
I then wrapped a 
7cm Black Lace
(Boyes Haberdashery)
around the Middle of the card.

Next I printed off the Image twice
on White DC Paper,

and coloured it in 

using my Promarker Pens.

I used my White Shake Pen
(Graph'It)
to highlight the Eyes.

I Die-Cut out the Image using
the Large Ornate Frame
(X-Cut),
and using the 2nd Image and fussy cut out 
Sheba and the Flowers,
and Decopaged them up.

For my Sentiment I used
a 'Happy Halloween' Clear Stamp
(Trick or Treat, Pumpkin + Aubergine Set, 
Daisy + Dandelion)
with Tuxedo Black Ink
(Memento),
on the Orange Card.
Which I Die-Cut out using 
a 4cm Circle
(Sizzex)
And added it to a Gold and Orange Pearl
Card Charm 
(Bev's Card Charms).

To finish my Card off I added
Iridescent Orange Glitter
(Glitter Magic)
to Mandi's Ribbon.
and 2mm Black Gems
(stash)
to her Cuffs.
Finally I added 3mm Iridescent Orange Gems
(stash)
5 around each of the top Corners.

New Challenge #107 At Glitter N Sparkle

Yay it's that time of week,

and this week I have been a busy bee,
and have 2 wonderful cards for you.
This week I wanted to incorporate things 
into my Projects that I have
lying around the house.

My 1st project for this week is:-

Oingo Octopus Digi Stamp

To began used a precut Shaped White Card
(stash).
Which I used as a template to cut out the shape from
Mid Blue Textured Weave Card
(stash)
and using a Large Frilly Square #1 Die
(Go Kreate).
I cut cut out a window.

Next I printed off the Image on
White DC Paper,

and coloured it in 

using my Promarker Pens.

                                    Coral (Mouth + Under Tentacles)

Spice (Highlights)
Royal Blue (Hat)
Black (Face)

Fish - Pastel Beige

Sandstone
Cool Grey 3

Seascape - Ivory (Seashell)

Buttercup (Sand)

Pear Green ( Seaweed)
Moss (Seaweed)

Pastel Green (Sea)

I added an extra Fish to the

top left of the Card.

Next I used a 'Happy Birthday' Rubber Stamp
(Hampton Art Stamps)
with Whisper White Ink
(Stampin' Up!).

To finish my Card off I took some pieces of 
Plastic Seaweed from a Fish Tank Ornament
(that I have lying around in a cupboard)
and tied them together and wrapped some
Metallic Green Mesh
(stash)
around the bottom.
And I attached this to the Card with a 
Metal Swirl Brad
(stash),
The Mesh to symbolise a Net,
and the Swirl a Shell.
Finally I added an Anchor Charm
(Bev's Card Charms).

New Challenge #106 at Glitter N Sparkle

It's that time of week again,

and it's been a good week.
Finally settling down into a routine now
with his working hours.
And this weekend has been lovely 
spending it with his youngest daughter.
Lots of fun, even if swimming 
shattered me the other day lol.

Here is my project for this Week,
I fancied doing a nice little Trinket/Jewelry Box:-

My project for this week is:-

Marilyn Digi Stamp

To began with I used the Crafty Drawers Template
(House of Zandra)
for the Drawers I used Matte Black Card
(stash),
and White Card for everything else
(stash).

Using Floral Black + White Paper
(Paper Cellar)
I covered the Top and the Blank Sides.
Around the Edges of the Side pieces
I used Boarder Holographic Silver Peel Offs,
(stash).

For the Drawers,
I used Silver Holographic Card
(stash),
to make the fronts of them.
Then added an 8mm Silver Brad
(stash)
to make the handles.

For the Top of my Box
I cut a 26cm x 13cm length of 
Pearlised Black Card
(Ross Papers)
and folded it to make an Easel Fold
(6.5, 6.5, 13).

To decorate the Easel Fold,
on the Bottom I used 
Silver Holographic Card
(because I reminds me of Diamonds sparkling).
On the Folded over Face I used
Silver Mirror Card
(stash).
And made a pop up Rectangle for the center
from Silver Holographic Card and 
Silver Mirror Card.
Which I rounded off the corners of
using a 5mm Corner Punch
(X-Cut).

Then using some more Black Pearlised Card
I Die-Cut out the Oval Frame 
- A5 Trim Boarders
(X-Cut)

Next I printed off the Image on
White DC Paper,
and using the Oval Frame Die again, 
cut it out.

I placed the Black Boarder on the 
Rectangle pop-up, 
and put the cut out Oval Image in the Center.

Using the Black Oval that was left 
I placed it at the front
and Printed off the sentiment
'Diamonds are a girls best friend'
which I then cut out using a smaller Oval Die
(Go Kreate)

To finish off my Card I added
some Silver Stickles
(Ranger)
to Marilyn's Earrings,
and 2 x 3mm Diamantes' to the Drops.
For her Fur I used Dazzling Details
(Stamping Up!).
Around the Sentiment I used
5mm Diamantes'.
And finally added 2 White Paper Roses,
and a White + Pearl Satin Flower
(both stash).

Yes it's Sunday again,

and this week has been interesting.
For some strange and bizarre reason 
I had a battle with a freshly boiled kettle
and of course I lost lol.
So now I am nursing a badly burnt arm,
typical for me.

Here is my project for this Week:-

Bear Guitar Digi Stamp

To began with I made a 16cm Square Card from
White Card
(stash).
Then I used Cyan Blue Paper
(stash)
and cut out a 15.8cm Square,
followed by a 15cm Square from
Black Paper
(stash).
I cut a 13cm Square out of 
Kraft Paper
(stash),
and rounded off 2 opposite corners.

Next I printed off the Image on
White DC Paper,

and coloured it in 

using my Promarker Pens.

  Bear -  Pastel Beige (Claws)
                                             Satin (Ears + Chest)

Ivory

Then I used my Metallic Silver Gel Pen

for the Pickguard,

and the Metallic Gold Gel Pen

for the Guitar Strings.

I cut the Image to a 10cm Square.

Next I stamped a Musical Score Clear Stamp
( came free from a magazine)
with Black Tuxedo Ink
(Memento)
on Brown Paper
(stash)
and cut a 3 x 3.5cm Rectangle which
I then cut diagonally in half,
for the Corners.
I wrapped a 10mm Black Organza Ribbon
(Boyes Haberdashery)
around the top 3 Layers of the card.

For my Sentiment text I used
a Silver and Blue,
'Happy Birthday' Brad
(stash).

To finish my Card off I added
6 Blue Small Buttons
(stash)
3 to each corner.
