New Challenge #151 at Glitter N Sparkle - Card 1

Happy Birthday,
Yes I have just celebrated another passing year.
And honestly they just seem to be speeding up.
I now only have this year left to enjoy myself
before the next dreaded Big One arrives.
Worst of all I still don't feel any older than 25 lol.

So here's to all of us out there
who like to grow old disgracefully
and who will always stay young at heart.

This weeks Challenge is just so apt.

My Project this

week is:-

Girl Fairy Birthday Digi Stamp

To begin with I used a Pre-cut Polkadot 
Embossed Scalloped Edge Card,
(stash)

which I covered piece of Birthday Celebration Paper
(not sure where it came from).
I rounded the corners off using 5mm Corner Punch
(X-Cut)
I then used Lacy Squares Die-Cut
(Spellbinders)
Larger one on Pink Paper
Medium one on White Paper.

Next I printed the Image out

  on White DC Paper

and coloured it in

using my Promarker Pens

                                                            Almond             - Cake
                                                            Primrose           - Hair
                                                            Buttercup         - Hair
                                                            Lemon               - Hair
                                                            Amber               - Candle
                                                            Sandstone         - Cake
                                                            Blossom             - Wings
                                                            Pink Carnation - Icing/Top
                                                            Antique Pink    - Lips/Top
                                                            Hot Pink            - Cake Plate
                                                            Cool Aqua         - Eyes
                                                            Duck Egg          - Eyes
                                                            Black                 - Eyes

I then cut it out and rounded the Corners off

and went around the outside with Antique Pink Promarker Pen.

I placed a strip of 1cm Pink Satin Ribbon across the bottom.

and using a Gift Tag Die

(Xcut XCU503200)

cut out the sentiment and edged it with the Antique Pink Pen.

I used Glossy Accents

(Ranger)

on the Icing, Candles and Eyes to make them pop out.

Then decided to add Holographic Glitter

(Glitter Magic)

to her Wings.

Finally I added 3 Pearl Flowers

which I coloured in using Pink Carnation Promarker Pen.
