and stamped it twice using Tuxedo Black Ink
(Momento)
and Royal Blue Ink,
(Dovecrafts)
next to the Popcorn Monkey Image.

for the other Image I
fussy cut out the Clown Notice Board
and then using Royal Blue Ink
I stamped on a 'Happy Birthday Ticket' Stamp
(AHB Designs.com - Crafts-Beautiful)
then coloured in the Stars with
Canary, Poppy and Azure Pens,
and around the Ticket area I coloured it in with Satin.

To attach the Clown Notice Board
to the Card as a Tag,
I punched a hole through the Clowns Flower
on his Hat.
I then threaded through a 5mm Red Satin Ribbon
(Boyes Haberdashery)
Which I affixed to the Left side of the Card.

Finally I added 3 Buttons,
2 Blue and 1 Red Mini Plastic Buttons
(stash)
to the top Right of the Card.

New Challenge #194 at Glitter N Sparkle - Card 1

Its Summer,
Well if its not official its sure hot enough.
And when its like this I just love doing
all kinds of homey things.
So this week I have been Jam making,
I will probably be having a few baking days
over the next few weeks,
especially when I can go out into the Garden
and pick all the ingredients fresh.
I also found a wonderful new (easy)
Jam recipe using the Microwave.....
and yes it is very effective and more importantly
YUMMY....

a Black Gel Pen.
(This is my Homemade Cherry Jam)

I then backed the Image onto
a piece of Black Card to keep it ridged,
(Scrapbox)
once it had dried I then Cut out the Image.

To make the Tag look like a Pot of Jam,
I used Glossy Accents
(Ranger)
on the 'Jar' part of the Image.

Finally I attached it to a length of

New Challenge #193 at Glitter N Sparkle

Phew,
Well this House Clearing is hard work.
I've sorted loads out but the only thing is
its now all piled up in the Spare Room,
which is now so full I can't even get into it.
some of the stuff is to good just be thrown away in a skip,
so now I need to sort it out into piles again.
Binning, Selling and Charity.

This week I thought I would try something different colour wise,
I have chosen to use Oranges, Peaches and Yellows,
which I very rarely use.

Once coloured I then cut the Image out and
rounded off the Corners using 10mm Corner Punch

Stamped using Sienna Ink
(Antique Page)

New Challenge #192 at Glitter N Sparkle

Hello back again,
Think I have managed to de-stress now.
All I have lined up to do now is clear the house out,
(and I have trouble throwing things away).
But I need to have a ruthless clear out
ready for the start of the Summer Holidays
as my Step-Daughter is coming for the duration.
It is going to be so much fun,
and her Dad and I have got a few things planned
to keep her occupied.

Anyway this week is all about those Special Men in your life.
It doesn't always have to be your Father,
it could be your Step-Dad, or a Grandfather,
or even that Special Person who has given
you guidance as you grow up.

This one is for my Father.
(and for once I know he will get it in time).

(Stampin' Up)

using Antique Linen Distress Ink,

and Black Soot Distress Ink.

And coloured it in using my Promarker Pens.

I then put it through my Brother Scan & Cut
so that I could cut it out with the White Outline.
I then distressed around the Image
 using Vintage Photo Distress Ink.
Also using the Scan and Cut
I cut out the 'Happy Father's Day'
out of Dark Brown Card.
(stash)

For the Quote, I found it on the Internet
(not to sure where)
which I printed off then distressed and curled
the Corners with a pair of scissors.
I also added some extra Vintage Photo Distress Ink
and Walnut Stain Distress Ink
to the Curled Corners.

Finally I added a Silver/Dark Brown
Pocket Watch Embellishment
(Craft)
to the top right corner.

Well OK, I kind of stood around and informed the
other half he had to do all the weeding and hard stuff.
I did pick the litter up if that counts hehe.

Well next week will probably be a rather hectic one,
as my Partners Sister is getting Married
and I'm a Bridesmaid.
no doubt I will fill you in after the event next week.

(One of our sponsors)

To begin with I used part of a Template from a Box,
'I Support You'
(My Time Made Easy - Lauren Meader)
Of which I just used the Lid Top and the Decorate Inlay Templates.
(But I used a Heart for the Insert cutout rather than the Oval).

Firstly I cut out 2 of the Lid Tops.
1 in White Card and 1 in Pale Pink Card
(both from stash)
I then affixed them together at the Top of the Card
and made 2x 6.5cm Long Rectangles
(folded in Half) from the spare White Card
and attached them at the Bottom so the Card could stand up.

Secondly I printed off a copy of the Backing Paper
which came with the 'I Support You' Pack.
and I used it to cut out the Decorative Inlay Template.
I then went around all the edges with Iridescent Pastel Pink Glitter.

And coloured it in using my Promarker Pens.

For the Sentiment I used one of the Verses
which came with the 'I Support You' Pack,
(It is actually the same words that are on the Backing Paper but in a Verse.)
I Cut it out using a Scalloped Oval Die
(X-Cut - XCU503406)
and I went around the edge using my Pale Pink Promarker.
Then I attached it to the Back of the Base Card.

For Decoration I first added a Strip of
22mm Pale Pink with Hearts Satin Ribbon.
On top of that I placed a Handmade Bow,
made from 15mm Cerise Pink Satin Ribbon.
(both from Boyes Haberdashery)
To finish it off I added a medium sized
Pale Pink Paper Rose.
(Papermania)

Finally I added 6mm AB Pale Pink Pearls
(stash)
3 to each of the Card Ribbon Ends.
