Challenge #8 at Morgans Art World

Hi and welcome back.

I have finally got my Blog back after a long 2 months,
It was taken out of my hands (I think I was hacked)
along with all of my emails.
Luckily I noticed straight away and managed to get them blocked
until it had all been sorted out.

So now it is time to catch up on all of my Crafty Makes
that I have been unable to do .

My Project for

this Challenge is:-

Cameo 4

To begin with I started with a Pre-Cut White Arched Base Card

(stash)

I then cut out a matching arch shape from Glossy Black Card.
(Southfield)

Using Matte Silver Paper
(stash)

I used my Brother Scan and Cut and 
the Antique Frame File.
(No. 3 Typically Tattered Lace - Tattered Lace)

I then printed off the Image

on White DC Paper

And coloured it in using my Promarker Pens:

Blush
Satin
Sunkissed Pink
Coral
Dusky Rose
Antique Pink
Ice Grey 1
Ice Grey 2
Ice Grey 3
Ice Grey 4
Ice Grey 5
Cool Grey 1
Cool Grey 2
Cool Grey 3

Black
Metallic Silver

I then cut it out using the Oval Invert of the Frame

(Antique Frame - Tattered Lace)
and raised the Image up using decoupage Foam Pads.

To her Dress, the Rose and her Eyelids
I added Holographic Silver Glitter.
(Glitter Magic)

Under the edge of the Frame on the left hand side of the Card,
I added a strip of 5cm Black/Silver Lace

(Boyes Haberdashery) 

At the top of the Lace I added 3 small Black Paper Flowers

(from my Flower Box stash)

Finally I added 3x 5mm Crystal Dotted Rhinestones
(stash)
to the bottom right of the Card,

Lastly I went around the Edge of the White Base Card 
with my Black Pen
(Promarker)
to make it stand out.

Goth Fairy 4 Digi Stamp

 To begin with I used a Pre-Cut Square Scalloped Edged Card,
(stash)
Then using my Brother Scan and Cut,
and the Swirly Frame 11 File.
(Bird's Cards)
I cut the base layer from Glossy Black Card
(Southfield)
and the Frame from Pearlised Purple Card.
(Ross Papers)

Next I printed off the Image
on White DC Paper,
and coloured it in using 
my Promarker Pens
Satin
Putty 
Sunkissed Pink
Coral
Dusky Rose
Lemon
Lilac
Lavender
Orchid
Amythst
Aubergine
Cool Grey 1
Cool Grey 3
Cool Grey 5

I placed it in the Center of the Frame.

I added a Butterfly using
Faerie Queen with Angel Wings Die
(Cheery Lynn Designs)
Using some Pearlised Black Paper
and some Pearlised Purple Paper
(both Ross Papers)

I also made a Flower using
Flowers And Leaves Die
(LR0156 - Marianne Creatables)
Which I then backed on to a scrap of Plain White Paper,
and fussy Cut around the Outside.
I then coloured in the 'Petals'
using Lilac and Lavender Pens.

Finally I added Glossy Accents 
(Ranger)
to the Flower and her Lips on the Image.
I also added 4x 5m Glitter Ring Purple Rhinestones

to the Center of the Big Flower and
1x on the Butterfly.

from Make It Crafty

To begin with I used a Pre-Cut Scalloped Edged White Base Card
(stash)

to which I Layered on Green/Yellow Flower Paper,
(stash)

I then cut out 2 smaller squares from Bright Green Paper
(stash)
and placed them in opposite Corners.
I rounded off all the Corners using 5mm Corner Punch
(X-Cut)

Next I printed the Image off 

on White DC Paper

And coloured the Image
 in using my Promarker Pens.

For the Sentiment I used the Lucky Charm Sentiment

Once printed out I then Die-Cut out both the Image 
and the Sentiment
using the Scalloped Square Nestable Dies.

I Handmade a Bow for this card
using 1cm Lime Green Organza Ribbon

For my finishing touches I added 3 
1cm Iridescent Green Chipped Rhinestone Gems

And finally I added Glossy Accents 
(Ranger)
to the Flowers and the Eyes on the Image.

Mother and Child 1 Digi Stamp

from Pattie's Creations

To begin with I used a sheet of A4 Pearlised Champagne Card
(Ross Papers)

which I cut to make a Rectangle Base Card
(11 x 17cm)

Next I printed the Image off 

on White DC Paper

And coloured the Image 
in using my Promarker Pens.

Ivory
Almond
Putty

Antique Pink
Sandstone
Caramel
Cinnamon
Cocoa
Chestnut
Henna

Using Pearlised Double Sided Dusky Rose Flower/Plain Ivory Paper 
(The Promise - First Edition)
I cut out two 9 x 15cm Rectangles,
Placing the Dusky Rose Paper face up on the Inside of the Card 
and the Ivory Paper face Up on the Outside of the Card.

For the Sentiment '1st Mother's Day'
I printed it out using Nupital Font
on the Dusky Rose Paper.
Using this Paper I then cut out 4x 1cm wide Strips
with the Sentiment on one of them.
Then I laid the strips around the edge of the Ivory Paper,
making a frame around the Image.

Once all the Layers were on I then Fussy Cut through 
the Front of the Card,
along the Edge of the Image,
rounding the card edges off so they 
melted into the Lines from the Image.

To begin with I used a Pre-cut White base Card
(stash)

on which I layered on the Back Inside of the Card, 
Cream Nautical Paper
(stash)

and on Front of the Card,
Blue Checked Paper
(stash)

Next I printed the Image off 

on White DC Paper

And coloured the Image
 in using my Promarker Pens.

I then cut it out in a Rectangle 
and cut the Corners Inverted using
10mm Corner Punch.

To emphasis the Edge I went around it using my French Navy Pen.

To add to the Nautical Theme I used my 
Brother Scan & Cut with a Wave Boarder File

on Light Blue and Mid Blue Card

In my Stash Box I also found a White Seagull cutout,

New Challenge #171 at Glitter N Sparkle

Hello Again,

Well the White Stuff has finally fallen from the sky
and is laying on the ground.
Arrrggg well that's me stuck inside,
honest I look like Bambi on Ice
when I go out in the Snow.
And the worst thing is I have to go to College tomorrow,
and the Mr's car is in the Garage
so I will have to use the bus and risk walking........
Keeping everything crossed that it melts away quick,
It can come back on Tuesday when I don't have to go anywhere.

Anyway this weeks project is a Card I have made
for my Nephew's 2nd Birthday.
He is just so cute and adorable,
and he also has the most amazing name lol.
Yes he is also called Sam !!!
(well Samuel in full)
Just wish I could see them all more often,
but I'm here in England,
and they are over in Denmark.

My Project this

week is:-

Ollie the Giraffe Digi Stamp

from Limited Runs

To begin with I used a A4 Sheet of Burnt Orange Card

(stash)

which I cut into a Triangle with 24cm length sides.
I then Marked off on each side at 12 cm and 
connected them to make the inverted center Triangle,
using a Valley Fold.
On each of the 3 outside Triangles,
I then marked off the bottom 3rd and made the Mountain Fold.

Using Orange Giraffe Glitter Paper
(Safari Kids - DCWV)
I cut out Triangles to fit all of the outer 3 corners,
from the fold up.
And on the reverse side I used some Light Orange Card
(Scrap Box)
along the bottom 3rd of the Outer Triangles,
(between the folds)

To make them look less harsh against the Burnt Orange Card,
I lightly distressed the edges of the Light Orange Card
using Antique Linen Distress Ink.

I also added 6 Orange/Silver Striped Candies
(stash)
to the overlap Corners of the Triangles

Next I printed off the Image twice

on White DC Paper

And coloured it in using my Promarker Pens.

I cut one of the Images out in a Triangle
3mm smaller that the Base Card.
Then I fussy cut the other Image out,
and attached it on top of the triangle Image 
using a Mini Card Spring
(Docrafts - Papermania)
so that it pops and bounces around, when the card is opened

For my Sentiments I used the ones that came with the Image,
colouring them with the Mandarin Promarker Pen
and cutting them out by hand.

Finally I added the Orange Letter Buttons

(Trimits Decorative)
'S' 'A' 'M',
one to each of the Light Orange Card Corners
which show when the Card is folded up.

New Challenge #164 at Glitter N Sparkle

Hello Again,

Well I'm pleased to say that I am feeling back to normal

(well as normal as I get)

again, but still awaiting news from the Hospital.

This week has been rather good,

it was my Step-daughters 12th birthday this week

(they grow up way to fast).

We had a lovely meal out to celebrate on Wednesday.

And opening of the presents was met with joy and tears.

LEGO is just the best present ever,

we got her some Minecraft Lego sets

to keep her entertained.

Then last night we had my Mum and Dad,

come for a visit and another lovely meal out.

I don't get to see them that often

so love spending time with them.

which I Die-Cut out using the

Accordion Fancy Label Card Die - 771

(Elisabeth Craft Designs)

I also use the Border Trim from the Die (x8)

with Pearlised Black Paper

(Ross Papers)

Which I then placed around the edges of the

'1st and Last Pages'.

Next I printed off 2x Image

(one of them reversed)

on White DC Paper

And coloured them in using my Promarker Pens

Then I used the Insert Dies from the Card Set

and Die-Cut out the Images and the Proverb.

I then went around the edges with my Black Pen

(Promarker).

On the Images I added Glamour Dust

(Deco Art)

to the small Head Fans and the Large Fan

and Holographic Gold Glitter

(Glitter Magic)

to the Trims of the Fans.

I also added 2x 5mm Dark Purple Dotted Rhinestone

(stash)

to the top corners.

To the Proverb I added a Handmade Bow

made from 1cm Black Lace

(Boyes Haberdashery)

topped with a Purple Dotted Rhinestone.

I also added a Black Bamboo Peel-Off

(stash)

to the gap in the middle of the Proverb.

Finally I added 4x 5mm Black Dotted Rhinestones

(stash)

to each of the corners of the Frame of the

'Middle Page'.
