My project for this week is:-

Chocolate Cherry Pie Digi Stamp
from The Stamping Chef
(one of our sponsors)

This week I thought I would make
a nice Stair Step Fold Card,
so to begin with I chose a piece of
14 x 26cm Maroon Card
(stash).
 Which I scored at
3cm, 6cm, 10.5cm 15cm, 20.5cm
to make the folds.

Next I cut some Purple/Cream
'Snakeprint' Linen Card
(stash)
to fit the Smallest and the Largest 'Steps'.
And some Cream/Purple
'Snakeprint' Linen Card
(stash)
to fit the Middle 'Step'.

Next I Die-Cut out my Image

using the Majestic Circles (6pc)
(Spellbinders)
And to colour the Edges I used
Champagne Mist - All Purpose Ink
(Tsukineko)
which I applied with a sponge,
then I added Maroon Promarker to the Ink
and reapplied.

And using Champagne Pearl Card
(Ross)
I Die-Cut out the Backing Shape
so that I could Découpage my Image onto it.

I coloured in my Image
using my Promarker Pens.
               Skin -             Vanilla
                                     Blush
                                     Dusky Pink
                                     Dusky Rose
                                     Satin
               Hair -              Shale
                                     Burnt Sienna
                                     Cocoa
                                     Sandstone
               Eyes -            Moss
                                     Sandstone
               Make-up -       Amethyst
                                     Maroon
                                     Burgundy
               Dress -           Amethyst
                                     Maroon
                                     Slate
               Belt -              Honeycomb
                                     Spice
               Socks -          Vanilla
                                     Buttercup
                                     Spice
                                     Maroon
               Shoes -          Slate
               Cake -            Vanilla
                                     Honeycomb

               Clip-board -    Ice Grey 4

I put a strip of Cream Satin Ribbon
(Stash).
across the Middle 'Step',
and placed the Coffee on top.

New Challenge #66 at Glitter n Sparkle

Happy New Year,
I would like to wish everyone all the best
for 2014.
May you all have fabulous craft projects this year.
I was a truly good girl this year and stayed in
and played with all my new carding stuff for New Year.

Well on with this weeks card :-

the Theme at Glitter n Sparkle is:-
Anything Goes

Our sponsors this week are:-

Digi Darla who are offering
5 images from their store

The Stamping Chef who are offering
3 images from their store

Patties Creations who are offering

2 images for their store

Flourish with a Bling who are offering
an AUD $12 gift certificate for their store

My project for this week is:

Dotty Birthday digi stamp
from The Stamping Chef (one of our sponsors).

For my Base Card I used
Pre-cut Square Scalloped Edged Card
(Jellybean Crafts).

I then used Black Party Balloon
Backing Paper (stash),
and using my Scalloped Edge Punch
(X-Cut) I punched all 4 sides.

I then coloured in my digi image
in using my Promarker Pens.
Then die-cut her out with the
Large Scalloped Square Nesties
(X-Cut).

For my sentiment I used a 'Birthday Girl'
clear stamp
(All B Designs - free from Crafts Beautiful)
using a technique discovered by accident over christmas.
First I pressed the 'Girl' part of the clear stamp
in my Red Ink Pad (Docrafts Artiste Ink Pad),
Then without using or cleaning it,
I lightly pressed the whole stamp in
my Tuxedo Black Ink Pad (Memento).
Then stamped it onto my card, as you can see
the red and black inks mix and leave a pretty effect.

I then added a piece of Red Iridescent Ribbon (stash),
which I glued on, and then cut the top and bottom
to fit the scalloped edge.
Then I handmade a Red Organza Ribbon Bow (stash).
Put 4 Red/White Polka Dot Candies on
(Candi, Cardwork Crafts).

For my finishing touches I used
Red Glitter on her Bow and Ribbons in her hair,
and on the Bows and Ribbons of the presents
I used Baby Pink Glitter and Plum Purple Glitter
(all are Craft Planet Sparkling Glitters).

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges :-

Craft-Dee BowZ - Jan - Anything Goes/Handmade Bow
Digi Galore - Girly

So For this one.....

Medium Dark Brown Plain Card (stash).
Which I have layered up with a

then a Glitter Yellow Card (stash).
On top of that I have used a
Leaves Backing Paper (stash),
which I Die-cut out,
using the X-Cut Large Ornate Frame.

I coloured the image in
using my Promarker Pens.

Using a 'Just Because' Stamp

Detail Gold Embossing Powder (PSX).

For the extras I Die-cut 2 Branch/Leaves

For my 1st Project this week I used the
Don't be Sad Digi Stamp
from The Stamping Chef (one of our Sponsors)

To make this card:-

I hand-cut the basic shape for my Base Card

from tracing round the die cut,
on a Cream Pearl Card from Ross Paper.
I then die cut some Pearl White with Orange Flowers
Card (from my stash) with
the Frame Circle from Marianne Design.
Using the Sizzix Framelits Circles #2,
I cut out the inside circle from
some plain Orange Paper that I had in my stash,
then centred my cut out Image on top of that.
I colour the digi stamp in using my Promarker pens.
I used my own sentiment for this card,
which I coloured in with the Promarker,
and die cut out.
I then used some textured Orange paper,
which I punched out using the Lace Trim X-Cut Punch,
which I put inside the Card.
To finish the card off I backed the sentiment onto
2 Blue Paper Blossoms
(from Dovecraft - Back to Basics Christmas).
Then I put some Light Blue Ribbon down the edge,
3 Orange and White Candi's on the bottom and
some Silver Holographic Glitter
on the words of the sentiment
(all which are in my stash).

My 2nd Card for this week is the

Lil Indian Harvest Digi Stamp
from Digi Darla (one of our Sponsors)

To make this card:-
I used a Plain Orange Card for the back folded Card
and the main picture is backed onto a
plain White Card, both from my stash.
To make the rest I 1st Weaved some
Orange Spotty and Red Spotty paper
from 'Love from Teddy'
(from the Making Cards Magazine 2/13)
together into a square
Then I die cut the corners out using the
Sizzix Framelits Circles #2.
I then Punched out a 6" circle with
the X-Cut Multi Shaper Blosson Punch,
on White Spotty paper from
'Love from Teddy',
which I then cut into quarters,
for the corners.
For the middle I used the X-Cut Scalloped Oval
and die cut some of the White Spotty Paper,
and for on top of that I die cut out the
Digi stamp using the
X-Cut Oval.
I used Promarkers to colour the digi stamp in.
For my extras on the card,
I used the Orange Pearls from 'Anita's',
all around the Scalloped edge,
and in the middle of each of the Blossoms.
Then I made a Gold Ribbon Bow
with a Copper Medium Gem
for the left of the card
and 3 Orange Spotty Feathers
