Hello,

My name is Kelly and I am 10 years old.
This week i wanted to make a card with
a Bear on because i love them.
So this is what i made
hope you all like it.

My project for this week is:-

Happy Spring Bear digi stamp
from Digi Darla
(one of the sponsors)

I used a Yellow Square Card.
Then i used White with Yellow Flowers Card
(which Sam cut for me with a craft knife).

Then i coloured in using Promarker Pens.
Yellow on Dress, Shoes and Headband,
Dark Yellow on Daffodils,
Green on Leaves,
Brown for the Bear
Dark Brown on Nose and Ears.

I added a sentiment
World of Beauty digi stamp
from Digi Darla.

I Die-Cut both the Bear and the sentiment out
using Blossom Die-Cutter but different sizes.
And i edged the sentiment with the Yellow pen.

Then I die cut out the shapes to make
the 2 flowers on white paper,
and coloured the big ones in green,
and the smallest yellow and
put them together to make the flowers.
the put a big Yellow Gem inside each flower.

To make it pretty i put Gold Glitter
on the outside of the dress, shoes and headband
and all of the fluffy sleeve.
And Green Glitter on the leaves of the flowers.
In the centre of each of the flowers on the dress
i put tiny little yellow gems.

And to finish Sam made me a Gold Ribbon Bow

New Challenge #70 at Glitter n Sparkle

Hi everyone
Yep Sunday again,
and I'm still waiting for my Nephew
it now official he's over cooking lol,
my poor Sister-in-law.

This week because of the Theme,
I though I would make myself a little Sewing Box
to hold all the little nick-nacks
that we all seem to accumulate for sewing.

Anyway here is my project for this week:-

The Theme at Glitter n
Sparkle is:-
Use Buttons

Our Sponsors this week are:-

The Stamping Chef who are offering
3 Images from their store

Digi Darla who are offering
5 Images from their store

Fred She Said who are offering
$10 Gift Certificate for their store

Flourish With A Bling who are offering
AUD $15 Gift Certificate for their store

My project for this week is:-

Pincushion with Thimble digi stamp
from Digi Darla (one of our sponsors)

I used a Template for a Chest Box
(Templates & More - Dreamees),
which I cut out of Cream Pearlised Card
(Ross Papers)
and assembled.
I then used Small Rose Paper,
(Damask Rose Designer Paper Collection -
exclusive to "Cardmaking & Papercrafting)
which I cut to fit inside all the surfaces
of the Chest.

I coloured in my Image using
my Promarker Pens.

Using the second Smallest Die
of the Rectangle Parenthesis 2 (5 pk)
(X-Cut)
Die-Cut out my Image.
I then cut out the centre of the Pin Cushion
and using a scrap of Purple Material
Placed it behind the Image and
padded it out with Wadding
(and boy did I have fun sticking this on the lid, lol).

Using 3cm wide Cream Lace
(stash)
I wrapped it around the bottom of all
of the side pieces of Rose Paper,
before sticking them on the Chest.

To make the Needle and Pins more realistic,
I added Holographic Silver Glitter
(Glitter Magic)
and Self-adhesive Flat-backed Pearls
(stash)
to the ends of the Pins.

I then added a Self-adhesive Paper Button Boarder
(stash)
around the edge of the Lid
and Hand-made a Bow out of a
piece of Cream Satin Ribbon
(stash)
for the side of the Chest.

And finally I added a collection of Buttons
to the Lid at the bottom of the Image
(All buttons from my Sewing Kit).

New Challenge #58 at Glitter n Sparkle

Well hello again,
Yes it's Sunday again.
So yet again I am spending quality time
up North with my Grandmother,
10 whole days of fun hehe,
while my Parents are off on their Jollies...
Just a shame that the weather is sooooo
FREEZING!!!!!!
The other down side is that
I can't Craft away to my hearts content.
Though I did pack enough to make a few cards
while I am up here.
Might even get my Gran to make one,
think she would enjoy that.
Anyways for this week.....

the Theme at Glitter n Sparkle is:-
Autumn Colours

Our sponsors this week are:-

This Week I have done two projects:
This is the 1st one:

I used the Sunflower Birdhouse digi stamp
from Digi Darla (one of our sponsors).

To make this I used the Birdhouse Template
(Templates and More CD from Dreamees).

Cutting the Template out onto
Burnt Orange Card (stash).I used Backing Paper Green Flower,
(Raspberry Road Designs),
Which I cutout and put on 3 sides
of the 'House'.
For the Roof I Used Wood Backing Paper
(Craftsuprint - Sheila Rodgers).

I then printed out 3 copies of the Image,

and coloured them in
using my Promarker Pens.
I cut out and decoupaged the Image up,
to give it more 'body'.

I then added 2 Yellow and
1 Orange Speckled Feathers (stash)
to the Left side of the Image.
I also added 1 Green and 1 Deep Red Flower
(Special Delivery - Helz Cuppleditch)
to the front of the Birdhouse,
and glitzed them up with
Flower Dimante Stickers
(Great Expressions).

For my 1st Project this week I used the
Don't be Sad Digi Stamp
from The Stamping Chef (one of our Sponsors)

To make this card:-

I hand-cut the basic shape for my Base Card

from tracing round the die cut,
on a Cream Pearl Card from Ross Paper.
I then die cut some Pearl White with Orange Flowers
Card (from my stash) with
the Frame Circle from Marianne Design.
Using the Sizzix Framelits Circles #2,
I cut out the inside circle from
some plain Orange Paper that I had in my stash,
then centred my cut out Image on top of that.
I colour the digi stamp in using my Promarker pens.
I used my own sentiment for this card,
which I coloured in with the Promarker,
and die cut out.
I then used some textured Orange paper,
which I punched out using the Lace Trim X-Cut Punch,
which I put inside the Card.
To finish the card off I backed the sentiment onto
2 Blue Paper Blossoms
(from Dovecraft - Back to Basics Christmas).
Then I put some Light Blue Ribbon down the edge,
3 Orange and White Candi's on the bottom and
some Silver Holographic Glitter
on the words of the sentiment
(all which are in my stash).

I'd like to enter this card in the following Challenges:-

My 2nd Card for this week is the

Lil Indian Harvest Digi Stamp
from Digi Darla (one of our Sponsors)

To make this card:-
I used a Plain Orange Card for the back folded Card
and the main picture is backed onto a
plain White Card, both from my stash.
To make the rest I 1st Weaved some
Orange Spotty and Red Spotty paper
from 'Love from Teddy'
(from the Making Cards Magazine 2/13)
together into a square
Then I die cut the corners out using the
Sizzix Framelits Circles #2.
I then Punched out a 6" circle with
the X-Cut Multi Shaper Blosson Punch,
on White Spotty paper from
'Love from Teddy',
which I then cut into quarters,
for the corners.
For the middle I used the X-Cut Scalloped Oval
and die cut some of the White Spotty Paper,
and for on top of that I die cut out the
Digi stamp using the
X-Cut Oval.
I used Promarkers to colour the digi stamp in.
For my extras on the card,
I used the Orange Pearls from 'Anita's',
all around the Scalloped edge,
and in the middle of each of the Blossoms.
Then I made a Gold Ribbon Bow
with a Copper Medium Gem
for the left of the card
and 3 Orange Spotty Feathers
for the right.
