New Challenge #199 at Glitter N Sparkle

Back again,

Well we have been having some fun this week.
I enrolled Kelly in some Rock Climbing lessons,
which she is totally loving.
We have also been designing and making our own T-shirts,
which though fun can take time especially 
when you have to let it dry between each colour.

My mum also got her involved in Jam making.....
and she has made her very own 'Raspberry and Gooseberry Jam'
-Yummy.

It has been a very Crafty/Homemaking week,
with lots of long Dog Walks on the Moor.
Enjoying getting out and about without
Computers and Phones.

To begin with I used Square White Base Card

I then cut out a Square of Pink/Orange Flower Paper
(stash)

and a Smaller Square of Yellow Swirl Paper

(stash)

Next I printed off the Image

on White DC Paper

And coloured it in using my Promarker Pens.

Satin

Mustard
Bright Green
Moss
Arctic Blue
Cyan
Sandstone
Caramel
Cinnamon
Cocoa

I then Diecut the Image out using
Labels 42 - Square

Using Iridescent Light Blue Paper

I Die-Cut out 2 Butterflies from the 
Butterflies and Dragonflies Set
(Joanna Sheen - Signature Dies)

Lastly I added diagonally across the Card

a Metallic Rainbow Ric-Rac Ribbon

New Challenge #108 at Glitter N Sparkle

Another week has gone by 

and the weather has definitely turned for the worse

it is still wet and windy.

Its not been a good week at all.

I put my back out on Wednesday,

and had to go to the Doctors.

Upshot more and stronger Medication

and a new clinic to attend with the torturers

(otherwise know as the Physiotherapists).

Downside is its taking me twice as long to make cards,

but I'm glad I can still do a bit.

I have decided that when I'm making Cards 
I would like to incorporate a sketch that has
caught my eye each week,
unless I am making a 3-D project.

I wanted this to be a very easy card to make.

To begin with I used an A4 sheet of White Card

(stash)

which I folded in half and cut to make an

18 x 12.5cm card.

Then I cut a 17.8 x 12.3cm rectangle 

of Pearlised Black Card

(Ross Papers)

Next I cut out a 12cm Square 

of Pearlised Purple Paper

(Ross Papers)

And a 8 x 12cm rectangle

of Orange Card

(stash - 

Leftover from last weeks card make!)

Using a Cobweb Stencil

(sorry I don't know who's it is, 

if anyone could tell me it would be appreciated)

on the Orange Card.

I rubbed over with my fingers using

Gunmetal Metallic Rub-Ons

(Earth Tones Kit #2 

- Craf-T Products)

Then I printed off the Image

on White DC Paper

and coloured it in

using my Promarker Pens

                                                Dusky Rose (Cheeks + Lips)

                                Hair -     Sandstone

                                                Cocoa

                                                Burnt Sienna

                                Hat -      Amethyst

                                                Cool Grey 1

                                                Black

                                Dress -   Lavender

                                                Lilac

                                                Cool Grey 5

                                                Black

                                Wings -  Amethyst

                                Tights -  Amethyst

                                                Black

                                Cat -       Amethyst

                                Bag -      Yellow

                                                Honeycomb

                                                Black

                                Stars -    Yellow

I then cut the Image out to a 

6 x 8cm rectangle.

To finish off my Card,

I added Iridescent Mauve Pink Glitter

(Glitter Magic)

to her Wings and to the Bows 

on her Hat and the Cat.

And Honey Yellow Glitter

(Craft Planet)

to all the Stars.
