Challenge #181 at Glitter N Sparkle - Card 1

Hi and welcome back.

I have finally got my Blog back after a long 2 months,
It was taken out of my hands (I think I was hacked)
along with all of my emails.
Luckily I noticed straight away and managed to get them blocked
until it had all been sorted out.

So now it is time to catch up on all of my Crafty Makes
that I have been unable to do .

My Project that
week was:-
Hatch In Egg Digi Stamp
Scribbles Designs

 To begin with I used a sheet of A4 Cream Card,
(stash)
I then made the card using my Brother Scan and Cut,
and the Easter Egg Cards File.
(Bird's Cards)
Next I layered it up Egg Paper
(Celebration Paper Collection - Crafts Beautiful)
and Yellow Gold Card,
(stash)
all cut out using the Egg Shape.

Nest I printed off the Image
on White DC Paper,
and coloured it in using 
my Promarker Pens
Yellow
Gold
Orange
Red
Cerise
Pastel Green
Forest Green
Petrol Blue

I then used the Scan and Cut to make the Sentiment
'Happy Easter'
(Happy Easter Bendy Card Insert - Bird's Cards)

I then added Xmas Red Glitter
(Glitter Magic)
to the Tulip Flower.
And to the Egg I added Icicle Stickles
(Ranger)
on the Stripes and the Edge.

Finally I added 6mm Yellow Pearls 
(stash)
to the Dots on the Eggshell.

Challenge #149 at Glitter N Sparkle

Hi ,
Arrrgggggg,
 I really don't know what is up with me
I keep meaning to stay on top of my Blogging,
then something comes along and all plans go out the window.

Unfortunately this has been a very hard couple of weeks.
as we have lost a Family member
and we all trying to deal with it.

I have a few cards for you to
catch up on now so please be patient with me.

The Theme at

Add Some Flowers

My 1st Project for this

week was:-

Groundhog Digi Stamp

from Scribbles Designs

(one of our sponsors)

To begin with I used an A4 Piece of Cream Card
(stash)

which I folded in half and Cut to make a 14cm Square Card.
And using a 5mm Corner Punch
(X-Cut)
rounded off the Corners.

Next I printed the Image out

  on White DC Paper

and coloured it in

using my Promarker Pens
Sunflower
Apple
Leaf Green
Grass
Forest Green
Luch Green
Pine
Sandstone
Caramel
Raw Sienna
Burnt Sienna
Umber
Warm Grey 1
Warm Grey 4
Warm Grey 5

Then I Die-cut the Image out 
using a medium Square Parenthesis Die
(X-Cut XCU503401)
I also Used the next size Die up and 
Cut out Green/Yellow Flower Paper
(Summertime - Forever Friends).

Using a Scrap of Dark Green Card
I cut a Trailing Leaves Die
(Crafts Too)

And I also Used Billies Bow Die
(Joy Crafts)
on a scrap of the Cream Card 
that was left over from making the Base.

I added a Green Flower Brad to the center
(stash)
to tie it together.

Finally I added 3 Organza Ribbon Flowers
(stash)
2 White/1 Yellow.
And placed 6 Beige Pearl Flowers
(stash),
3 on the Trailing leaves
and 3 in the center of the Flowers.
On the 2 on the White Flowers I just used my 
Sunflower Promarker Pen
and coloured them in.

Here is the 3rd of my Open-Minded Crafting Blogs that I have missed.

I was inspired to make a Trinket Box
when I saw this Image.
Hope you like it.

My Project is:-

Simple Pleasure Digi Stamp

from Scribbles Designs

To begin with I first printed off the Image

on White DC Paper.

I coloured the Image

using my Promarker Pens.

                                                                       Dusky Rose
                                                                       Lilac
                                                                       Yellow
                                                                       Meadow Green
                                                                       Pastel Green
                                                                       Cool Aqua
                                                                       Metallic Gold 

I then handcut the Image out,
(leaving tabs on the flaps)
Using a Sheet of A4 White Card I traced around the Image,
and extended the Flaps to 6cm to get the shape of the Box.
Once I had Cut it all out I glued it together 
using the extra tabs I had left on.

Finally I added a 10mm Blue Rhinestone Heart Gems
to the center of each of the Yellow Triangles,
and a 3mm Round Crystal Rhinestone
to the Center of the Design
(both Gems from my stash).

Here is the 2nd of my Glitter n Sparkle Blogs that I have missed.

Use Some Ribbon

My Project this week was:-

Foxy Digi Stamp

from Scribbles Designs
(one of our sponsors)

To start with I used a Pre-Cut White 3-fold Step Card
(stash)

Then I chose 3 different colours of Flowered Paper
(stash)
Yellow, Orange and Green.
Using the Yellow Flowered Paper I cut out 
2 x 10.5cm Squares and
1 x 4.5cm Square,
rounding the Corners with a
5mm Corner Punch
(X-Cut)

Next I Die-Cut out 4 x Orange Flower Paper 
and 3 x Green Flower Paper
using the Small Frilly Square #1
(Go Kreate).

I not only used the Foxy1 Image 
but also Foxy Peek-A-Boo Image
I printed the Images out
  on White DC Paper
and coloured them in

using my Promarker Pens

                                                            Yellow                  - Body Shading,
                                                            Meadow Green   - Eyes,
                                                            Honeycomb         - Body,
                                                            Spice                     - Body,
                                                            Caramel               - Tail, Legs,
                                                            Cool Grey 5         - Tail, Legs, Ears, Eyes, Nose,
                                                            Black                    - Tail, Legs, Ears, Nose,

I then Die-Cut the Images out,

using the Large Frilly Square #1 Die
(Go Kreate).

 

Next I printed off my sentiment on the Computer,
colouring in the word 'FOX' with my Honeycomb Promarker.
Then I cut it out in a 4.5cm Square.
I also cut out 2 more 4.5cm Squares 
from the scraps of  White DC Paper,
and again rounded all the corners with the 5mm  Punch.

On the 2 empty Squares I added the 'With Love' Stamp 
and the 'Happy Birthday' Stamp
(both from Kanban)
using Copper Pigment Ink
(Dovecraft)

I handmade my Ribbon Flower 
using 20mm Light Brown Organza Ribbon
(stash)
and placing an 10mm Orange Rhinestone in the Center
(stash)

Finally I added a Fox Image Brad
(that I found in my Brad Box)
and 5mm Copper Gems on the 
corners of the Stamped Squares
(stash).

To begin with I used a Pink Pearlised Card

and Cut it to make a 12cm Square Base Card

Then I printed off the Image
 on White DC Paper

and coloured it in

using my Promarker Pens

Once finished I Die-Cut it the Image out
using a medium Cross Die
(Not sure who's it is as it was given to me,
so if anyone knows could you let me know please).
Then using Pink/White Checked Gingham Paper
(stash)
Die-Cut out the Large Cross.

For the Background I used some Floral Pink Paper
(stash)
To which I wrapped around it some
White Satin with Silver Heart Ribbon
(Boyes Haberdashery).
Next I handmade a Bow using 
Pink/White Checked Gingham Ribbon
(stash)

To finish the Card off
I added 2 1cm Sparkle Pink Jagged Rhinestones
(stash).

Hello everyone

Yes it's that time of week again, Sunday is here.
Its been a very waiting week,
I'm waiting for my Nephew to make his appearance,
but he seems to be taking his time.

So here is my card for this week
(I like to think that it is the younger brother
of that little green man we all know!):-

My project for this week is:-

Brr Yodi digi stamp 

from Scribbles Designs (one of our sponsors)

For my base card I used a pre-cut White Square

Swing Card.

I then used some Black/White Crosshatch Paper,
(stash)
which I had in my scrap box. 
I cut it into 1 inch Strips to fit around the 
outside frame of the card.

I then used a 2 inch strip of Black Matte Paper
(stash)
which was also in my scrap box, 
and cut to fit the Right hand edge of the 
back face of the card.

Using some Black Pearlised Paper 

(Ross)

I cut out 2 Squares, 

to fit the Swing Centre front and back.

I then coloured in my Image using 

my Promarker Pens.

And cut it to fit inside the Black Square.

For my sentiment I thought I would choose 
a Quote from Yoda (Starwars),
which would go with a Happy Birthday for a Male.
I then typed it out using 
Troutkings BTN font in blue.
Which I then cut to fit inside the 
remaining Black Square.

For my stitching,
I did Faux around my Digi image 
with Promaker Cornflower.
And I Pierced 2 rows in 5mm intervals
over the 2 backing papers,
and using 1 thread of Light Blue 
(DMC 813) Embroidery Tread,
Criss-crossed it all the way down the pierced holes.
