New Challenge #109 at Glitter N Sparkle

Wow was that a week
Well it doesn't seem like
2 minutes since last week.
Things seem to be picking up
bit for me now.
The medication is working but making me
incredibly sleepy,
I keep falling asleep at the weirdest times,
then when I want to go to sleep at bed time
its just not happening
(typical).
And the Physiotherapy isn't as bad
as I thought it would be.
But give it time
I got a feeling they're
just being nice because its so painful.

Here is a Cutesy Thanksgiving Shaker Card.

The Theme at
Anything But A Square

Our Sponsors this week are:-

Crafty Sentiments who are offering
3 Images from their store.

The Stamping Boutique who are offering
3 Images from their store
(or 4 Images if one of theirs is used).

Eureka! Stamps who are offering
5 Images from their store.

QKR Stampede who are offering
5 Images from their store.

a $10 Gift Certificate for their store.

My Project for this
week is:-

Happy Turkey Digi Stamp
from QKR Stampede
(one of our sponsors)

To begin with I used a Pre-Cut Flower White Card,
with 2 Petal Fronts.
(stash)

Then I backed 1 of the Petal Fronts
with a Blue/Coral Flower Paper
(stash).
And using a Large Circle Die-Cut
(Sizzix)'
Cut out the Center.
Then put Clear Acetate
(stash)
on the back to make a Window.

Then I printed off the Image
on White DC Paper
and coloured it in
using my Promarker Pens

                                Turkey -   Yellow (Beak, Claws)
                                                Mustard (Beak, Claws)
                                                Pastel Blue (Head)
                                                Denim Blue (Head)
                                                Dusky Pink (Wattles)
                                                Poppy (Snood, Wattles)
                                                Caramel
                                                Cinnamon
                                                Cocoa
                                                Burnt Sienna
                                                Shale
                                                Cool Grey 5
                                                Black
                                Tree -       Moss
                                                Spice
                                                Cinnamon
                                                Shale

I then cut the Image out
in a rough 12cm Circle,
and backed it onto the remaining
White Petal Front.

Then using Decoupage Tape
(2 high)
I backed the Flower Window onto
the Image with the petals off-set
from the White ones.
Putting Clear AB Round Plastic Beads,
in the center to make it
a Shaker Card.

On the Inside of the Main Card,
(which becomes the Base when its
Folded and all Stuck together)
I covered it with Crisp Cantaloupe Card
(Stampin' Up!)
and cut to the Card Shape.

For the Sentiment

of the Blue Flower Paper
and cut out a Half Flower,
and using White Card
(stash)
cut out a slightly Smaller one.
On the White one I used a
'So Thankful' Clear Stamp
(Holiday Cheer - Stampin' Up!)
