Hi everyone
Yep Sunday again,
and I'm still waiting for my Nephew
it now official he's over cooking lol,
my poor Sister-in-law.
This week because of the Theme,
I though I would make myself a little Sewing Box
to hold all the little nick-nacks
that we all seem to accumulate for sewing.
Anyway here is my project for this week:-

My project for this week is:-
Pincushion with Thimble digi stamp
from Digi Darla (one of our sponsors)
I used a Template for a Chest Box
(Templates & More - Dreamees),
which I cut out of Cream Pearlised Card
(Ross Papers)
and assembled.

I coloured in my Image using
my Promarker Pens.
Using the second Smallest Die
of the Rectangle Parenthesis 2 (5 pk)
(X-Cut)
Die-Cut out my Image.
I then cut out the centre of the Pin Cushion
and using a scrap of Purple Material
Placed it behind the Image and
padded it out with Wadding
(and boy did I have fun sticking this on the lid, lol).
Using 3cm wide Cream Lace
(stash)
I wrapped it around the bottom of all
of the side pieces of Rose Paper,
before sticking them on the Chest.
To make the Needle and Pins more realistic,
I added Holographic Silver Glitter
(Glitter Magic)
and Self-adhesive Flat-backed Pearls
(stash)
to the ends of the Pins.
I then added a Self-adhesive Paper Button Boarder
(stash)
around the edge of the Lid
and Hand-made a Bow out of a
piece of Cream Satin Ribbon
(stash)
for the side of the Chest.
