Guest Designer Delicious Doodles Challenge #92

Yay its Friday again,

and it's Week 2 of being a Guest Designer
for the Delicious Doodles Challenge Blog.



I loved doing this weeks card, 
as I decided to combine both of my crafting passions,
Card-making and Cross-stitching.

My project for this week is:-

Rose and Butterfly Boarder 1 Digi Stamp 

For my Base card I used an A4 Sheet of
Purple Pearlised Card
(Ross Papers)  

Which I Hand-cut and Folded into a 
12.5 x 14.5cm Card

Next I printed off the image for this project,
on White DC Paper.
(2 copies of the Butterfly)

I coloured in my Image 

using my Promarker Pens.

               Rose -               Slate

                                        Amethyst

                                        Lilac

                                        Lavender
                                        Dusty Rose
                                        Blossom
               Leaves -            Moss

                                        Pear Green

               Butterfly -          Amethyst

                                        Lavender

                                        Dusty Rose
                                        Blossom

               Frame -             Lavender               

I then fussy cut the Image inside and out.
And cut out the 2nd Butterfly,
which I decoupaged up.

I then placed the Image like a Frame over my
Cross-stitched English Rose
(Vintage Style from Cross-Stitcher),
which I Stitched in 4 different Purple Threads
(DMC).

I then backed it onto a 10x10cm Square
of Metallic Purple Card
(stash).

Also using the Metallic Purple Card
I punched out a Strip using my
Delicate Lattice Boarder Punch
(Tonic)
for the Bottom of my Card.

To finish my card off 
I added some Purple Pastel Glitter Crafting Ribbon
(Craft)
and I Die-Cut out 2
Small Butterflies
(Butterfly 2 - Butterfly and Dragonfly - Joanna Sheen)
out of Silver Holographic Paper
(stash).
Using I highlighted the Swirls on the Frame
and the Butterflies Antenna, 
with Holographic Silver Glitter
(Glitter Magic).
And used Plum Purple Sparkling Glitter
(Craft Planet)
on the Wings of the Butterfly.

And finally I added 1 Large and 
2 Small Purple Paper Roses
(stash),
and 6 Lilac Flat-backed Pearls
(Anita's).

Here we are again,

This week has been rather a lazy one,
but that is because I still hadn't really recovered
from my Trip till around Friday.
Glad to say my Leg is now back to normal
and no longer reminds me of a
puffy tree trunk lol.

This week is gonna be a busy one,
especially for card making.
Got my Sisters Birthday, Partners Birthday,
and (I think I added them up properly)
9 Father's Day Cards 
for different parts of the family.
So that's why I've been doing a lot of them recently.

Anyway here is my project for this Week:-

My project for this week is:-

Finger Paint Digi Stamp 

from A Day For Daisies

To began with I Cut and Folded an 
A4 sheet of Dark Red Card
(stash)

to make a 14.5x16cm size Card

Next I used a Splatter Paint Abstract Background
(www.123rf.com)
and cut it to 14x15.5cm

On top of that I Off-Set a 12.5x11cm piece of
Splatter Walpaper
(www.dreamstime.com)

For my Image I used my Greeting Card Factory Programme,
and added it to a ClipArt picture of an Easel.
And also added the Sentiment using 
the 'Ryan BT' Font.
and printed off 2 copies on White DC Paper.

I coloured in my Image 

using my Promarker Pens.

I then cut out the Full Easel,
and also fussy cut out just the Shelf 
with all the Paints, Brushes and Palette,
which I decoupaged up to give a bit of depth.

To finish off my card 
I added a rainbow of alternating 
Striped and Polka Dot Candies
(Candi, Cardwork Crafts),
all down the Right side of the Card.

Guest Designer Delicious Doodles Challenge #91

Well here is my fantastic news,

I have kindly been asked to be a Guest Designer
for the Delicious Doodles Challenge Blog
for the whole of JUNE.

I have been looking forward to this for months,
being able to showcase some of Teri's fantastic
Digital Stamps.
Hope I can inspire everyone as much as the 
Resident Design Team and the previous 
Guest Designers.

Here is my project for this Week:-

Favorite DD Image

I just love all things Supernatural and Fantasy, 
and even more so LOVE Wolves.
This Image is just gorgeous and I simply adore it.
How I wish that I could be that Girl!

My project for this week is:-

Lycaonia Digi Stamp 

To began with I used an A4 Sheet of
Black Pearlised Card
(Ross Papers)  

Which I Hand-cut and Folded into a 
Triple Step Card

Next I printed off the Picture
(SuperMoon - May2012, Tim McCord)
which I cut down and tidied up
using a 5mm Corner Punch
(X-Cut)
Then I mounted it on to
Black Holographic Glitter Card
(PaperCellar)
This was glued onto the 'Back Step'.

Next I printed off the image for this project,
on White DC Paper.

I coloured in my Image 

using my Promarker Pens.

               Skin -                Vanilla

                                        Satin

                                        Dusky Pink (Cheek)

                                        Cyan (Eyes)                                                                          Poppy (Lips)
               Hair -                 Cool Grey 3

                                        Cool Grey 5

                                        Black 

               Dress -              Pear Green
                                        Moss

               Belt -                 Shale
               Cloak -              Cool Grey 1

                                        Cool Grey 3

               Wolf Standing - Sandstone

               Wolf Lying -      Cool Grey 1

I then fussy cut out the top half of my Image,
so that it would Pop-up off the 'Middle Step'.
Cutting the bottom half of the paper to fit the
full length and hight of the 'Step'.
For a bit of sparkle I added
Loose Holographic Crystal Glitter
(Glitter Magic)
to all the Fur around the Cloak.

For the Front of the Card,
I cut-out a layer to fit from the
Black Holographic Glitter Card.

To finish off my card I used
Black Pearlised Paper
(Ross Papers)
and I Die-Cut out 1
Vintage Flourishes Branch/Leaves
(Joy)
and also Die-Cut out 2
Fantastic Flourish 2
(Spellbinders)

I added the Branch/Leaves to the 'Middle Step'
(hopefully to imitate a Tree)
and added the Fantastic Flourishes 
to each of the bottom corners of the 'Front Step'.

And Finally I added 3 Black Paper Carnations
(stash),
to the middle of the 'Front Step'.

New Challenge #87 at Glitter N Sparkle

Wow,

I can't believe it is Sunday again.
Amsterdam was totally AMAZING.
I completely walked my poor leg off,
If I ever go again I think I might take the wheelchair.
I found plenty of attractions, beautiful architecture,
and gorgeous canals, but wish I could have seen more. 
And I am still recovering from it 5 days later lol.
Wouldn't mind if I had been drinking alcohol, 
but hardly a drop touched my lips.
One thing I didn't find was any Arts And Crafts shops,
bet they are all outside the Centre of Amsterdam.
:(

Scalloped Edge 14.5cm Square Card

(Jellybean Crafts)
And covered it with a 14cm Square cut from
a Textured Mid Blue Card
(stash)

On top of that I Off-Set a 12cm Square of
Boy Blue Paper
(Text Prints - The Paper Stack, Die Cuts With A View)

Next I printed off the image for this project,
on White DC Paper.

I coloured in my Image 

using my Promarker Pens.

I then fussy cut out my Image,
and added to my card at an angle.

Using Tuxedo Black Ink
(Memento)
I used the Rubber Stamp
Typography - Brother
(Docraft - Papermania)
and coloured it in using my Promarkers.

               Writing -            Royal Blue

                                        China Blue

                                        Cornflour
                                        Denim Blue

To finish off my card 
I added 3 Blue and White Polka Dot Candies
(Candi, Cardwork Crafts),
a metal Bone Brad 
(stash)
and a Football
(stash)
all which I decoupaged up for a bit of dimension.
