New Challenge #169 at Glitter N Sparkle

HAPPY NEW YEAR,

and welcome to 2016.

Well it has been a very nice Holiday for me,
lets say I was a very lucky lady this Christmas.
My beloved other half actually listened to me a couple of months ago
when I was moaning about my lack of crafty goodies.
So for Xmas he saved up and bought me a Brother Scan and Cut,
and a Heatwave Foil Pen.
And I expect a lot of use out of them,
as I have been playing with them all holiday.

As for my good news that I promised in my last Post.
I have officially taken over as Owner of
Glitter 'N' Sparkle Challenge Blog.
The lovely Teresa had to step down due to health reasons,
and I have a lot to live up to after her 3 years of hard work.
(though she has agreed to stay on as a Guest Designer).

My Project this

week is:-

Eden Cherry Blossom Digi Stamp

To begin with I used a Pre-cut White Card

(stash)

which I scanned into my Brother Scan and Cut 
to use as the base shape for all my Layers.

Next I matte and layered it using 
Blossom Pink Paper and Hot Pink Paper
(stash)

Next I printed off the Image

on White DC Paper

And coloured it in using my Promarker Pens.

Then I cut the Image out so it was slightly off center.

I added a strip of 2cm Pink Heart Ribbon
(Boyes Haberdashery)
which I put down the left side of the card.
I then scanned in some Cherry Blossom Flowers
(Images from the Internet)
which I cut out and decoupaged up on top of the Ribbon
to give it some dimension.

For My Sentiment I used 'For You' 
(Brother Scan and Cut pre-loaded SVG file).
I 1st cut it out of the Hot Pink Paper,
but it didn't stand out enough to see.
So instead I used a scrap of Matte Gold Card
(Scrap Box)
and taking the Pink Hearts I had from cutting the
other one out I placed them in the middle,
using a Metallic Gold Promarker Pen
to put a flick in the top tight corner of them.

Around the Eyes I added a dusting of 
 Iridescent Pastel Pink Glitter
(Glitter Magic)

Finally I added a 2mm Pink Rhinestones 

(stash)
around the top right Corner of the Card, and to the Points.
Also to the Eyes and the Hearts inside the Sentiment 
I added Glossy Accents.
