Midway Post Challenge #31 at Open-Minded Crafting

Saturday again
and it is again our halfway point
over at Open-Minded Crafting.

And yet again my beloved is doing another 12 day shift,
roll on next Payday,
and some lucky lady (namely me !!)
should hopefully get spoilt lol.
I did get a Bunch of Flowers and
a trip to the Cinema after the last big shift !

But to be honest he treats me like a Queen
all the time anyway.
He's always giving me little treats and surprises.

Anyway on with my card I would like to share
with you today.

The Theme at
Luck

Our Sponsors are:-

Digi Stamps 4 Joy who are offering
5 Images.

Make It Crafty who are offering
a $10 Gift Certificate.

Dilly Bean Stamps who are offering
3 Images.

Paper Addictions who are offering
5 Images.

My Project for this
week is:-
Girls Trip Digi Stamp
(one of our sponsors)

To begin with I chose a 17cm Square White Card
(stash)
I then layered a 16.5cm Square Blossom  Pink Card
(stash).

Next I printed off a ClipArt Tire Tread
(123rf),
on Pearlised White Paper
(Ross Papers)
then I ripped it to make a 14.5cm Square.

Next I printed the Image
on White DC Paper.
I coloured the Image
using my Promarker Pens.

                                                            Vanilla (Skin)
                                                            Satin (Skin)
                                                            Dusky Pink (Cheeks)
                                                            Ivory (Car Seat)
                                                            Pastel Beige (Car Seat)
                                                            Pastel Yellow (Hair, Head Lights)
                                                            Buttercup (Hair)
                                                            Mustard Yellow (Hair)
                                                            Gold (Hair, Licence Plate)
                                                            Lemon (Girls Top)
Lime Zest (Girls Top, Hair Bobbles)
                                                            Meadow Green (Girls Top)
                                                            Blossom (Girls Dress, Hair Bow)
Dusky Rose (Girls Dress, Hair Bow)
                                                            Lavender (Driver Top, Hair Bow)
                                                            Lilac (Driver Top, Hair Bow)
                                                            Sandstone (Hair)
                                                            Caramel (Hair)
                                                            Cinnamon (Hair)
                                                            Cocoa (Hair)
                                                            Shale (Steering Wheel)
Cool Grey 1 (Car Metal, Shading)
Cool Grey 2 (Car Metal, Mirror)
Cool Grey 3 (Car Metal, Wheels)
Cool Grey 4 (Car Metal, Wheels, Mirror)
Cool Grey 5 (Car Metal, Wheels, Mirror)
                                                            Black (Mirror)

Then I Die-Cut out my Image using
the Scalloped Oval Framelit
(Oval Collection - Stampin' Up!)
and stained the edges with
Antique Linen Distress Ink
(Tim Holtz).

For my Sentiment I use a programme called
Keepcalm-o-matic.co.uk
and chose the papyrus backing,
picked my colour,
and what words I wanted.
Then Cut it out and using
a 5mm Corner Punch
(X-Cut)
rounded off the corners.
I also edged this with the
Antique Linen Distress Ink.
Then Decoupaged it up on my Card.

For some Glitz and Glam,
I added Holographic White Glitter on
the Car Body Work.
Holographic Silver around the Head Lights
and the Windscreen.
(both from Glitter Magic).
And I used Glossy Accents
(Ranger)
to show the glass in the
Headlights and the Windscreen.

And finally I added a 1cm Bobbled White Pearl Gem,
and 2 5mm Flat-flat Back White Pearls
(both from my stash)
to the top Right Corner.
And I Handmade a Bow using
a 6mm Pink and White Checked Ribbon
(Boyes Haberdashery)
For the bottom of the Card.
