Challenge #41 at Open-Minded Crafting

This is the Last One.....
well for now as there has been a development.

Open-Minding Crafting Fun is having a break now
instead of closing down.
We are going to take the rest of the year off
and will be back in January
as a Monthly Challenge Blog.
So we shall be waiting for you all then.

So for now this is my last Card for this year.

The Theme at
Kids Want To Have Fun

My Project for this
week was:-
Cook Girl Set Digi Stamp
from Lia Stampz
(one of our sponsors)

To begin with I chose a pre-cut Tri-fold Octangle White Card
(stash)
Then I cut some Red Card
(stash)
to cover each of the elongated Octangle Sections
and also for the Top and Bottom Strips of the Card.
Next I cut out some Pink Cupcake Paper
(Alison Butler - Celebration Paper Collection
- Crafts Beautiful)
for the Octangles.
For the Strips Top and Bottom I cut some Blue Spotted Paper
(stash)
Because the Spots were White I coloured each one in
using my Antique Pink Promarker Pen.

Next I printed off the Images
on White DC Paper.
1 of the Cook Girl and
3 of the Cook Set
coloured the Images
using my Promarker Pens.

                                               Blush                  - Cheeks
                                               Sunflower          - Apron/Bowl
                                               Antique Pink     - Dress/Socks/Heart
                                               Crimson             - Dress/Socks
                                               Bright Green     - Apron/Flour Bag
                                               Pastel Blue         - Pot Water
                                               Aegean               - Apron/Bowl
                                               Sandstone          - Hair/Flour Bag/Eggs
                                               Caramel             - Hair/Spoon
                                               Chestnut            - Hair/Spoon
                                               Henna                - Hair/Spoon
                                               Walnut               - Hair/Spoon
                                               Cool Grey 1       - Hat/Pans/Whisk
                                               Cool Grey 2      - Hat/Pans
                                               Cool Grey 3      - Pans
                                               Cool Grey 4      - Pans
                                               Cool Grey 5      - Pans

I then cut out the Girl and one of the Cook Sets
in the Octangle Shape.
for the other 2 Cook sets I fussy cut them out
to decoupage them up.

Next I wanted a cute 'Recipe' Sentiment
so I made one up,
using the measurements from a
Cupcake Recipe, and changing the
Ingredients.
I typed it out on my Computer and
printed it in Red.
Then cut it out in an Octangle Shape.

Using the Scraps of the White DC Paper I had left over,
I Die-Cut out 4 Cupcakes
(Tea Party Dies - 1st Craft Edition)
Then to make each of the cupcakes I added
Iridescent Yellow Glitter,
Iridescent Mint Green Glitter,
Iridescent Ice Blue Glitter,
and Iridescent Pastel Pink Glitter
(all from Glitter Magic)
for the 'Paper Cups'.
Then added a 6mm Dotted Rhinestone
(stash)
in Yellow, Green, Turquoise, and Pink
for the 'Decorations'

To finish off I Handmade a Bow,
made from 5mm Turquoise Satin Ribbon.
(stash).

I also went around the edges of the Octangles
with the Images/Sentiment
with Antique Pink Promarker.
And finally I added Chameleon Flakes
(Glitter Magic)
to the Bowl of Sugar
to make it look like Sugar Granules.

I would like to enter this card in
the following Challenges:
