For the Top and Bottom I cut two 5.5 x 16.5cm Strips

(XCU503050 - X-Cut)
I cut 2 .

printed the Image out
  on White DC Paper
and coloured it in
using my Promarker Pens

                                                            Skin        - Vanilla

                                                                            - Cool Grey 1 (Shading)

I then traced around the Image using a Circle Die
(9.5cm)
and fussy cut it out so that I didn't cut the Hat and Bows off.
Using a slightly larger size Circle Die

Midway Post, Challenge #36 at Open-Minded Crafting

Here is the 1st of my Open-Minded Crafting Blogs that I have missed.

The Theme at
Wedding/Anniversary

My Project was:-
At Long Last Digi Stamp
(one of our sponsors)

To begin with I started with an A4 sheet of Pearlised Champagne Card
(Ross Papers)
which I folded in half.

Next I cut a Piece of Pearlised White Paper
(Ross Papers)
so that it fitted just inside the Card Front.
Using 6cm White Lace
(Boyes Haberdashery)
I covered the Left hand-side of the Paper.

Next I Die-Cut out the Large Ornate Frame Oval
(X-Cut)
on White Glitter Card
(Range)

Next I printed off the Image twice
on White DC Paper.
coloured the Images
using my Promarker Pens.

                                          Skin                    - Vanilla/Satin/Dusky Pink
                                          Lips                    - Dusky Rose
                                          Hair Girl Left    - Cinnamon/Cocoa/Burnt Sienna/Shale
                                          Hair Girl Right  - Yellow/Sandstone/Caramel/Cinnamon
                                          Dresses              - Ivory
                                          Roses                  - Blossom/Meadow Green

I also used a Metallic Gold Gel Pen,
on the Tiara, Hairband, Ring and Bracelets.

Then I Die-Cut one of the Images out
using the Large Ornate Frame Oval
(X-Cut)
and only using the insert.
I fussy cut out the other Image and decoupaged it up.

To handmake the Posey in the top corner,
I 1st took some of the 6cm White Lace
and folded it in half length ways,
then I loosely stitched some thread
through the middle and pulled it together
which made it into a circle.
I then added 2 Pastel Pink Paper Flowers,
2 White Satin/Feather Flowers,
and 2 White Satin/Pearl Flowers.
(all flowers from my stash)
Unfortunately as I was putting it together
one of the White Satin/Pearl Flowers fell to bits,
so instead i just placed the flower parts at the front and added a
12mm Pearl flower to the center of it.

To add some glitz I used Holographic Embossing Powder(Papermania)
for both of the Veils.
And 3D Pearl Effects in Pastel Pink
(Dovecraft)
on all of the Pearl Drops and Trim on the Righthand Girl
and the Buttons on the Lefthand Girl.

Oh Wow,
So sorry I have got behind in my postings,
I have been frantically revising and doing my work for college.
The exams got put back but they are all done and finished now.
I was so happy I passed with flying colours.
When it comes to exams I get so flustered and usually forget everything lol.
But not this time, so now I am just waiting for my Certificate to arrive.

So now it is time to do my badly needed catching up.
Please bear with me as I  put all the new and waiting posts up for you all.
